INTRODUCTION Woodrow Wilson was the 8th chairman of the United States between the years of 1913-1921, he led the United States during World WarI.Wilsons belief in internationalist cooperation through an association of nations led to the League of Nations and was to the United Nations. For his motion in this, he was awarded the 1919 Nobel Prize for peace. More than any president before him, Wilson was responsible for increasing United States participation in world affairs.

He was a brilliant and effective public speaker, but he found it difficult to work well with other political sympathies officials, he stood on every disagreement.                  HIS EARLY LIFE Wilson was natural to religious and educated people, mainly of Scottish background. His grandparents on two sides emigrated to America in the 19th century and stayed in Ohio. Wilsons father, Joseph Ruggles Wilson, canvass for the clergy at the Presbyterian-directed College of New Jersey, now Princeton University.



He married Janet Woodrow, and primal in the 1850s the Wilsons move to Virginia, where he taught at Hampton-Sydney College. In 1855 he became a minister of a church in Staunton.
